| Presbyterians from the region held their
services in the German Reformed Church prior to the organization of a
local church in 1809.
Hagerstown's first Presbyterian Church was built on South Potomac Street in circa 1815 to 1817. The present limestone Gothic Revival style church was built in 1873 to 1875.
