Summer is almost over!  Kids are back in school and a new season will once again be upon us.  What  are we looking forward to this fall?  Many new activities were planned at the August CT meeting  to better represent who we are as PW.  We are glad to say that we have able to help a needy family in our community with back to school clothing for 3 young boys.  It was quite a pleasure to shop for them.  Mildred and I went shopping in different stores, finding the best bargain!  We had so much fun.  Another project is the buckeye candy making; the dates are as follows: October 26 & 27, November 2 & 3, and 16 & 17.   This is our only fundraising project, so we are putting all our effort into that. If you are available to come and help, your participation is welcome! 

Presbyterian Women meets once a month (the fourth Thursday of the month) at the Fireside Restaurant.  We start lunch at 11:30am until whenever… So please join us when you are able to, we have such great times fellowshipping with other women from St. Andrew and elsewhere.

The 2009-2010 Bible Study is JOSHUA, A Journey of Faith.  The theme is a reminder of how God continues to be at work in the world today, as well as in our individual lives.  Join us for our next

Bible study on September 14, 2009. Jo Shahan will be the hostess for that evening.  If you have any questions about the directions to her house, please call the church office @ 301-739-6337.  All ladies are welcome to join the group!
